Hooray, DORA is here. Since January 17, 2025, the Digital Operational Resilience Act has been mandatory, which probably no financial institution in Germany would have wanted voluntarily. The consequences of non-compliance with this regulation are considerable. The Management Board can be held personally liable for non-compliance and institutions face penalties of up to EUR 5 million.

In Germany, there is probably not yet a single bank that has implemented all DORA requirements.
